The Drop & Go® has significantly improved the efficiency of our traffic management
operations. It allows crews to deploy and recover equipment much more quickly than
traditional traffic management vehicles, reducing setup and collection times and helping
operatives focus on the task rather than handling cumbersome equipment.

Feedback from our operatives has been extremely positive. The loading and unloading
process is much safer and more ergonomic, reducing manual handling risks and fatigue. The
vehicle layout provides excellent accessibility to equipment, and the compact design makes
manoeuvring in urban environments, narrow roads and residential areas considerably easier
than traditional TM vehicles.

Since introducing the Drop & Go®, we have increasingly favoured this type of vehicle for a
number of our urban and utility-based traffic management operations. The practical benefits,
ease of deployment and operational efficiencies have demonstrated clear advantages over
more traditional traffic management vehicle concepts, particularly for lower-speed works and
reactive maintenance activities.

The Drop & Go® has become an integral part of our fleet strategy, and the positive feedback
from both operatives and clients has reinforced its long-term value.

We use the Drop & Go® vehicles to deploy traffic management, and the reduced body
height has greatly helped with manual handling and team safety. Manual handling is always
at the forefront of our team briefs due to the nature of our work, and the Drop & Go® has
helped reduce risk when unloading.

The rear ramp and reduced body height work well together, helping reduce manual handling
during unloading. On the reactive contract I currently manage, the ability to use these
vehicles across different tasks has been a real benefit.

Not having tail lifts has also been useful, as LOLER testing is not required for a tail lift. It also
reduces weight on the rear axle, helping to save costs on testing and related parts.

The Drop & Go® has improved day-to-day working for our operators by making equipment
easier to access and reducing climbing, lifting and manual handling. The low loading height
and open access design make loading and unloading easier than with conventional traffic
management vehicles.

Since introducing the Drop & Go® platform, we have increasingly moved away from
traditional dropside vehicles with tail lifts for this type of operation. The improvements in
accessibility, operator safety, efficiency and usability have demonstrated a clear advantage
over conventional traffic management vehicle designs.

We currently operate approximately 30 Drop & Go® vehicles within our fleet and are
continuing to expand that number with further orders. The biggest endorsement we can give
the Drop & Go® is that it has fundamentally changed our approach to traffic management
vehicles.

The Drop & Go® has made ingress and egress easier and safer for our operatives, while the
increased payload compared with our previous vehicles allows us to meet more customer
requirements with fewer vehicles on site.

The lower body height makes equipment easier to access, and our vehicle specification
allows equipment to be stored in designated areas, helping to reduce damage and wear
while improving load security.

Before adopting the Drop & Go®, we primarily used traditional Transit flatbed and Mercedes-
Benz Sprinter dropside vehicles. Since discovering the Drop & Go® in 2015, we have
continued to order more than 52 vehicles over the last 10 years, and we have phased out
our older traffic management vehicles. For us, the Drop & Go® is now a mandatory vehicle
requirement, not an option.

I had spoken to current owners of the Ultra and only received good feedback. The vehicle needed to offer the flexibility to carry everyday cars, motorcycles and lowered cars with low noses; qualities the Ultra offered, so I knew this one was the one I wanted.

Just a quick thank you to all the team at AKFS for all your help in completing the conversion on our new VW T6 Transporter. <p>Since receiving the first Plant &amp; Go now over 7 years ago, we continue to purchase this vehicle for our Rental fleet. Having bought over 200 units we find that the vehicle has adapted and now offers a Traffic Management specification with their Drop &amp; Go as well as their Ultra Car Transporter. Our customers include Council authorities, Plant &amp; Tool Hire, Grounds Maintenance and Traffic Management clients, all of whom see the importance of these vehicles for their business operations. Safety Vehicle Hire and Lease went into partnership with AKFS in early 2019. And we will be shortly taking delivery of our 25^th Drop And Go vehicle. The relationship is built on good lead times, a quality product and great sales team.

I've been dealing with AKFS since 2008 and had over 25 vehicles. Their customer service is second to none. The vehicles are tried and tested designs that do the job so well. I have tried others but nothing lasts or stands up to the job like the quality build of an AKFS vehicle. I have 2 more on order !
