Racetruck at Le Mans Classic

Already an established brand in the racing and classic car racing communities, we’re delighted to be gaining traction in some of the most highly regarded racing events and racers around.

In keeping with this, it’s our immense pleasure to announce that Racetruck is now associated with impassioned classic car racer Adam Dawson.

A well-connected name in racing and special vehicles, Racetruck Founder Ian Knight first met Adam 7 years ago at the Le Mans Classic; a biennial event celebrating vintage and classic cars, held on the grounds of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Established in 2002, Le Mans Classic runs every 2 years in July on the full 13.65 km circuit which is also used for the annual event: 24 Hours of Le Mans.

During Ian’s first meeting with Adam, Adam was taking part in the race itself, racing a classic Porsche.

Adam Dawson is a surrey-based professional with a love of racing, and a passion for classic Porsches.

Adam often races, and will be using the Racetruck for the classic Porsche event at Brands Hatch.

Aptly named the Brands Hatch Festival of Porsche, this event is widely considered one of the biggest celebrations of Germany’s most iconic sports car - the timeless Porsche - to grace the UK.

Returning for the first time in 4 years, this year’s Festival of Porsche perfectly coincides with the 70th anniversary of this incredible sports car’s founding; taking place on Sunday 2nd September.

As Adam races, the Racetruck will be proudly on display for all to see - so if you’re there, make sure to get a good look!
